Give Spark a 45x speed boost with Redis

By combining Spark with Redis, you can provide another huge boost to the performance of analytics jobs. This is due to Redis’ optimized data structures and its ability to execute operations in a way that minimizes complexity and overhead.

Redsmin adds support for Redis cluster real-time and historical monitoring

It was asked for some time now, so here are the first step on the road to a full integration of Redis Cluster featureset into Redsmin. Just like the client list, the cluster tab will display in real-time your Redis cluster nodes state, their role (master, slave), their slots range, link state and so on.

Cluster related metrics (cluster_slots_[ok | assigned | pfail | fail], cluster_stats_messages_[sent | received], ...) are now also recorded and available for back-in-time introspection along with the usual data!

The Redsmin team is eager to hear your feedbacks to improve the best Redis GUI out there!

Code and libraries

zset - an erlang implementation of the redis zsets-like structures

Not directly related to Redis but interesting nonetheless!

Redis Express Middleware

mexists - multi exists for Redis LUA

eredis — Fast and light Redis C client library built over Hiredis, thread-safe, write replication, auto-reconnect, sync pool, async libev

It aims to provide basic features needed in real production environment.
  • Async commands (like writes) via asynchronous events (libev)
  • Manage async commands mirroring across multiple redis servers (shared-nothing)
  • Thread-safe pool of readers via sync
  • Automatic and seamless fail-over and reconnect.
