Code and libraries

redis-mock - Node.js redis client mock

The goal of the redis-mock project is to create a feature-complete mock of node_redis, so that it may be used interchangeably when writing unit tests for code that depends on Redis. Personally I prefer to not use mock whenever I can but if you really have to, this library can help.

Maestrojs - a library for service orchestration relying on #Redis for service discovery

Maestro.js is a library that helps dynamically orchestrate different services using Redis. Services do not need to know any information about the service they depend on (only the name), this library will be responsible to resolve the options necessary to connect to all services and keep the service updated with the latest options.

distribucache - Redis-backed automatically-repopulating cache.

This cache does everything in its power to shield the caller from the delays of the downstream services. It has a unique feature, where the cache will populate itself on a certain interval, and will gracefully stop doing so when the values that were being refreshed have not been used.
